About Us
Our record of success speaks for itself.
GrantRescue
Our clients have outstanding funding success records. We have won, and helped our clients to win, numerous grant awards (over $25 M) from the NIH, NSF, EPA, American Cancer Society and other private foundations, and industry. Many of these were funded on first submission. We are experienced with NIH grants of all types, and specialize in the new NIH grant format.
Why mention first-submission awards? ...to suggest that you have some assurance of a first-submission award as our client? Absolutely not! Far too many factors are in play during the review and award process, including many beyond our control. But our record of repeated NIH grant funding on first submission is proof-positive that we can provide the one essential element of primary concern to you as a prospective client: superb grantsmanship -- knowing the essentials of a winning grant, and how to tailor and present them for success.
Please see Portfolio for a list of subjects on which we have been funded and published, or assisted clients to do so.
WinningSubmissions
We have published, and helped our clients to publish, in a wide range of leading peer-reviewed biomedical research journals (see Portfolio), covering an equally wide range of basic, translational and clinical research topics--with minimal resubmissions.
The 3 roots of our success:
- A love of constructing the persuasive written story and argument
- An earnest interest and deep satisfaction in helping others to bring their scientific ideas and achievements to life and to fruition
- Extensive experience as a leading independent researcher and peer reviewer of manuscripts and grants--the only way to truly put oneself in the reviewer's shoes as consultant, editor and writer
GrantRescue / WinningSubmissions is owned and operated by Jeffrey B. Tatro, Ph.D., Associate Professor, Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes, Molecular Medicine and Metabolism, Tufts Medical Center and Tufts University School of Medicine. Dr. Tatro is a veteran researcher having over 20 years research, writing and editing experience in a wide variety of cutting-edge biomedical topics. His substantial track record of funding, groundbreaking discoveries, scientific publications and peer review spans an unusually broad range of fields, including wide-ranging and international collaborative experience with basic scientists, clinicians and physician-scientists in academic medicine, and also with large pharmaceutical firms, biotech concerns and entrepreneurs.
Through GrantRescue, he has assisted healthcare concerns, environmental health consortia, and municipal land use and conservation authorities to achieve large-scale funding and other project goals.
Client testimonials, references, publication records, and funding records for those clients who have released us from our confidentiality obligation, are available by arrangement.
